We hope you will get a chance to meet each one and experience their compassionate service, giving you the kind of attention that soothes your soul. Our staff is here for your healing and well-being.

Kiley Maziarski,  Licensed Massage Therapist

“I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2003. I typically use a blend of Lomi Lomi, Swedish and Deep Tissue to create a restoring massage and love learning new modalities to enhance my practice. My focus through bodywork is to meet your personal needs while bringing more awareness to your body and how you move through life. My hope is that each person I see leaves happier and inspired to treat themselves a little better each day. I live on beautiful Camano Island with my awesome husband, two amazing daughters and our sweet big lug of a dog, Pete. I’m all about family, having a good laugh, yoga, herbs, oils, beaches, music and art. I also have my own line of all natural body care products; Ki Body Care, which you can purchase right here at the spa.”

Markie Parks, Esthetician and Nail Care Specialist

“Hi, my name is Markie and I grew up in Central California. From a very early age, I have always had an interest in skin care. From at-home face masks with girlfriends, to bridal makeup on the weekends, I genuinely love helping others feel the most comfortable in their natural skin. After High School, I pursued my Esthetician license by attending Paul Mitchell-The Cosmetology School in Fresno CA. Helping my clients to achieve their skin care goals is so rewarding. Additionally, I provide natural nail care services including spa pedicures and natural nail manicures. I am looking forward to providing you with a restful and rejuvenating experience!”

Jill Carter, Licensed Massage Therapist

“I first became interested in massage after receiving treatments and the idea of a career change developed. I graduated from Spectrum School of Massage in 2001. I view massage therapy as a form of healing the body, spirit, and mind. My goal for my clients is to restore, and promote balance and well being in their body and mind. I feel very fortunate to be able to bring relief to people who suffer from the stresses of daily life. I strive to meet the needs and expectations of my clients while being guided by the values of respect, compassion, and professionalism.”

Nina Hinton, Licensed Massage Therapist  “Hello, I am Nina, practicing massage since 2013. I was first introduced to alternative health and wellness at Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. and then  completed my massage certification at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork in Kauai, HI. I have experience in many healing modalities, including Structural Integration (Rolfing) and Swedish Massage. I have found my niche in an effective form of bodywork, Connective Tissue Massage. I enjoy empowering my clients, helping to free them from chronic pain and witnessing the emotional transformation that occurs when they are relieved from that pain. After working with me, people have expressed feeling more freedom, less restriction, more enjoyment in their bodies, and most importantly, an ease of being.”

Rhonda Simpson, Spa Owner   rhonda@camanoislanddayspa.com

“I have long held the vision of a healing and wellness center to help people both physically and emotionally, and to provide a place where people can feel safe to heal. A place where the body and mind can be free to rejuvenate and restore. Now I am able to combine my work in business administration, my love of yoga, and my desire to facilitate healing on many levels. I have worked in the Seattle area for over 15 years in Human Resources. I also teach yoga at Movement Arts. I love to see people happy and healthy. This desire has spirited me forth on this new venture; a day spa!  Never stop dreaming for yourself and for all those you come in contact with on your path.”

Kara Keating, Spa owner   kara@camanoislanddayspa.com  “I had been dreaming of a spa environment to be right next door to my yoga studio. What an excellent combination for healing and health! Last year Rhonda and I were on retreat in Costa Rica talking about the Spa when we decided to go for it and make the dream become reality. Eventually I have plans to train as a healer and work with clients in the spa. For now I am happy to help manage and promote the spa. You will see me sometimes helping behind the desk at the Spa, or next door where I teach yoga at Movement Arts.”

I’m passionate about self care and strongly believe that it’s our duty to take care of our bodies and minds in order to live a balanced life. Cultivating a peaceful and nurturing environment is important to me, and I’m happy to part of that at the Camano Island Day Spa.”
